Head, Governance Risk & Compliance
Our fast-growing tech company is seeking a highly skilled Head of Governance Risk & Compliance to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. The ideal candidate should have at least 13 years of experience in the governance, risk, and compliance field, with a proven track record of implementing and managing effective GRC frameworks.
As the Head of Governance Risk & Compliance, you will be responsible for developing and implementing GRC policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing risk across the organization.
• Develop and implement GRC policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Manage the implementation and maintenance of GRC frameworks across the organization.
• Provide guidance and support to business units on GRC issues and requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies.
• Monitor and report on compliance with GRC policies and procedures.
• Develop and deliver GRC training programs to ensure all employees understand and comply with GRC policies and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in GRC.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or related field.
• 13+ years of experience in the governance, risk, and compliance field, with a proven track record of implementing and managing effective GRC frameworks.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in GRC.
• Must be based in Lagos or willing to relocate.• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or related field.
